Typhoon victims needed help from the other end of the country and the hospital was willing to send any of us who would like to volunteer for a day instead of a day at work. I really wanted to help so I grabbed the chance and went on with a few of my colleagues. All nurse volunteers were asked to wear white Medical Uniforms to be recognized among the pool of people coming in the site. Our company asked us to wear something red instead to represent the hospital color. We were a little confused on what to wear and who to follow. The company of course wanted recognition but the organizers wanted a systematic process. Besides, I do not have any red Nurse Uniforms since we wore just white the whole time. My fellow nurses and I decided to just wear red scrubs instead so we fulfill both goals only we had to change it a little. We were ten in the group so we decided to just buy online to avoid the hassle of going someplace else to find red Scrub Tops. I found Blue Sky online and I asked my group if they wanted to buy in bulk and they agreed since it was convenient and cheaper as they were on sale. Then we could get them embroidered before we had to travel northward to the site. The shipping was only one day so we have prepared ourselves long before the volunteer date.
